Boxes and Portfolios

Our hand-made boxes and portfolios are made to order, with any variation that may be required. They are constructed from millboard of neutral acidity and can be lined with acid free paper to help preserve the contents.

We can create solander boxes and flap cases for most item be they large or small. Lettering can be applied on the spine or body of the box or enclosure.
Bookends bindery have created enclosures for many different items including limited edition records, tutu's and scrolls.

A box is also a great idea if you want to safely store a damaged item that you may want to get repaired at a later date.

Collection and Delivery

We are happy to set up a meeting for one of our trained staff to visit you and assess the work needed.

Any work undertaken will be collected and delivered by a member of our team.

Insurance of Books and Other Artefacts

All work undertaken is fully insured and is kept in fire proof safes.

Great care is taken when handling all work within the bindery and the completed projects are also covered whilst in transit.

We offer book restoration in London and the south East but are happy to discuss the assessment of potential work nationwide.
